There are a number of ways we can work together!

1. Private Lessons in Person.

If you live in, or are coming to the Southern California area, it is possible to set up private, one-on-one lessons.
These are one-off lessons. When you are ready for another session, let me know and we'll set up another one. There is no commitment for additional lessons. Most students schedule one lesson every four to six weeks but it is completely up to you.

The best way to begin is to simply drop me an email at telling me you are interested.
I will write you back letting you know about available days and times and we'll schedule a lesson.

$100.00 for a one hour lesson (we usually go a little longer, however).

2. Skype/FaceTime Lessons.

If you are interested in lessons via Skype or FaceTime, contact me at and let me know! Then go to Paypal and make your payment. Once Paypal notifies me that your payment has been made, I'll contact you and we'll set up a time for your lesson.

Single one hour lesson--$100.00
Single half-hour lesson--$50.00
Two one-hour lessons--$175.00
Three one-hour lessons--$275.00
Four one-hour lessons--$350.00

3. The University of Redlands, Redlands, CA.

If you are looking to earn a degree (Bachelors/Masters) in Jazz Guitar Performance, you may want to look into attending this amazing school. I run the Jazz Guitar Studio that includes private lessons, jazz guitar ensemble, studio/performance classes, and composition for guitarists. For more info, go here:

4. The Community School of Music through the The University of Redlands, Redlands, CA.

If you are looking for lessons with me but are not a student at the University, you can take lessons through the Community School. This option is available during Fall and Spring semesters each year. The lessons take place at the University, but not for credit. Simply enroll and ask for me to be your teacher. Get more information here:

5. Riverside Community College.

You can also take private lessons with me here as well, during the Fall and Spring semesters. RCC has amazing Guitar and Jazz programs. Find out more here:

6. Jody Fisher Guitar Workshops.

I usually hold a few guitar workshops throughout the year at various locations. These cover a variety of topics such as, improvisation, solo guitar, fingerboard and theory reviews, etc.

I usually announce these workshops on most of the social media sites, as well as the mailing list associated with my website,

The fees vary on these depending length and location.
